Katie and Ryan’s wedding took place in York Harbor, Maine. The location was so special to Katie and Ryan, as they had been vacationing in that area with their families for many many years. As soon as we entered the town we started to fall in love with it as well. It was so charming and full of amazing sites including antique shops, gardens, the ocean and lighthouses. The ceremony was held outdoors in the reserve across from the York Harbor Inn, where the reception took place.

Katie and Ryan used a beautiful bird motif throughout their stationary and also carried it into the actual wedding. They used an antique bird cage to collect cards when you entered the reception. Each detail was carefully thought out and included touches of Maine and the coast. The favors were individual boxes containing taffy from York Harbor. The use of shells throughout the day was so elegant. The place cards were each put in a shell as well as shells on the sweetheart table.

Katie was a beautiful bride and wore an amazing beaded dress. She also opted for a fresh flower in her hair that smelt heavenly! Katie and Ryan were so sweet and put so much thought into planning a beautiful wedding to enjoy with their families. We were honored to be able to photograph their special day.
